Company Background

The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) Company was created to simplify trade and enhance the efficiency of cross-border transactions. By integrating various government agencies and private sector entities, PSW aims to streamline import, export, and transit processes, reducing both time and costs associated with trade.

PSW supports Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating international trade and aims to make doing business in the country easier.

Challenges

Scattered Data Issues

The company was manually entering data into Google Sheets from various sources, including Facebook data like post likes, shares, and comments, as well as sales data. This manual process was time-consuming, prone to errors, and unable to scale with the business’s needs.

Issues in Data Quality

Because of the manual process of data entry, the company grappled with significant issues related to data accuracy and consolidation. As the volume of data increased, the risk of errors grew, making it difficult to rely on this information for business decisions.

No Data Strategy

Inability to consolidate information from various sources prevented the company from obtaining a real-time, accurate view of their sales and marketing performance. This made it hard for them to decide when and where to sell their products, which cities to focus on, and which channels would bring in the most revenue for them.

By integrating information from sources like Meta, Shopify, Google Analytics, and their point-of-sale systems, the solution

  • Eliminated the need to log into multiple systems, enabling a consolidated view of sales performance.
  • Helped refine the company’s marketing strategies by giving its employees comprehensive insights on campaign performance and customer behavior. This ensured that budgets were effectively allocated to maximize return on investment (ROI).

Analytics dashboards were built to better make sense of this huge amount of data. These dashboards showed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as daily net revenue, total orders, and units per transaction for both channels, as well as city-wise and branch-wise sales for retail. They also showed sales figures for each article sold along with a visual of that article so designers can compare which ones performed better and why.
